Senators vow to strip Obama climate power

Eleven Republican senators introduced a bill that would stop the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gases, which scientists blame for global warming, without explicit approval by Congress.

    Clyde Novak Global warming is more likely the cause of the sun flareing heavely. 20 mkillionn years ago global warming almost wiped all life from earth wasn't cave man fires that caused it either

    I've been in the eye of this hurricane. Fred Seitz took over from my father at http://rlounsbery.org/. He is the lead denier in Merchants of Doubt which came out in June.
    
    When I joined the board in 1993, Fred was denying that warming was happening. Then he denied that it was anthropogenic. As those arguments became increasingly shaky, he maintained that global warming won't matter. Man will prevail.
    
    Fred's last stand will probably pass the test of time. After all, there is a lot of good land up in Canada and Siberia that is not being used at all.
