Recording Soldier's Experiences on Military Sorties

The article does not mention one relatively simply enhancement I am desperate to see: continuous recordings from the helmet of every soldier's sortie.

These would be invaluable for reviewing actions in the field and finding ways to use diplomacy instead of force. Obviously, it can be done very cheaply now and there must be some soldiers already doing it using consumer rigs being sold mostly to thrill seekers.

What prevents sortie recording from becoming standard operating practice? There is the obvious worry that bad soldiers will incriminate themselves.

What, exactly, is the problem with that?
